2.50Pinion Bearing Cartridge: This cartridge replaces the original Hyatt pinion bearing without modification to your worn pinion spool. It easily installs in either an enclosed or open pinion spool. By using modern precision ball bearings, it allows the differential gear mesh to be set and maintained precisely. As the bearing cartridge controls both drive shaft lateral and longitudinal movement, the locating bushing behind the the universal joint is no longer needed. This allows the use of our roller bearing.
